Over the years, the “Light of the Gospel” church has maintained a missionary and charitable department. In recent years, this ministry has actively developed its work in various directions:
CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS:
The Lord provides opportunities to participate in the construction and improvement of prayer houses in various locations and countries. This ministry helps local churches and groups develop and enhance their involvement in God’s work. It also allows many people to find peace with God by joining the Church of Jesus Christ.
SOCIAL PROJECTS:
We are also involved in social ministry, providing assistance to the underprivileged, widows, and orphans. These projects include material support, housing repairs, and spiritual encouragement.
SUPPORT FOR MISSIONARIES:
Our church provides financial assistance to missionaries who have dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel in other countries. They minister in Moldova, Ukraine, and Central Asian countries, preaching and teaching people about salvation.
HUMANITARIAN AID:
The “Parcels” ministry is organized to deliver humanitarian aid, food, and other essential items to regions in urgent need. Currently, our church supports families suffering from the effects of military conflict in Ukraine, demonstrating God’s love to those who need it most.
LOCAL EVANGELISM:
Evangelism in our own city is a direct ministry that we are called to carry out. Groups from our church regularly go out to share the Gospel in parks, truck stops, and the streets of the city. Our desire is for the “Light of the Gospel” church to be a living lampstand, spreading the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to unbelievers around us.
These areas of ministry are part of our overall effort to spread the Gospel and fulfill the commission Jesus Christ left for His church on earth:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
